Silicon carbide is an abrasive used to do the rough grinding on a telescope mirror blank. We have silicon carbide for sale in a variety of grit sizes and in a variety of weights. All of our abrasives come in sealed plastic jars with lined caps. Both the container and lid are labeled. This helps to keep your different abrasives separate and uncontaminated.
